Molino Saúco - Nature in its purest form.

As you know, we are in love with the fauna and flora of the Sierra de La Sagra, and especially passionate about animal behaviour and the beauty hidden in the different corners of the nature that surrounds us.

For some years now, we have started to use photo-trapping cameras to be able to see "the unseen", the life that happens in nature when we are not looking. This is the best way to observe the behaviour of different animal species, identify the most elusive species, and enjoy unique moments of nature in its purest state.

During the year 2022 we have been able to observe a large amount of local fauna in different situations, a wide variety of ungulates that frequent the Molino Saúco estate, such as deer, fallow deer, wild boar, mountain goats and mouflons, to fauna that is more difficult to observe due to their nocturnal behaviour, such as foxes, martens, genets, badgers and the wild cat (!).
